Raspberry plants leaves turning brown

I purchased an already potted small raspberry plant from my local garden shop just over a month ago and I repotted it and it started growing significantly but in the last 2 weeks the weather has been really sunny so I’ve put the raspberry plant in it’s pot out in my front yard where it has been receiving at least 7 hours of direct sun a day if not more and the leaves have started turning brown. I’m wondering is this due to too much sun? Overwatering, or any other issues? If anyone has any tips or advice I would appreciate it so I don’t kill this plant while I got a chance to save it.

The edge of the leaves looks like sun scorch, if the plant has been raised undercover then it needs to harden off a bit before it goes outside unless it's in the shade.

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t really think about acclimatizing it to the outdoors, so that’s what I’m going to do and hopefully I’ll see an improvement in the plant. Many thanks for the suggestion

Raspberries don't mind some shade they like it cooler, if you think about it most of the verities are produced in Scotland and the best raspberries are grown there.

It came in a 8cm pot and on the advice of the worker at the garden centre they said I should repot it into a large pot as it will grow into a bush so I bought a 30cm pot for it
