I could not see a model number but it looks like this:
I note the current model has a handle and quick release mechanism so you can easily store it under cover in winter and holders for keeping lances or spray guns to hand.
We just bought one of the crinkly extendable hoses, quite cheaply from Asda. I found it a bit weird at first, as it doesn’t properly extend until you turn the tap on. I’m getting to like it a lot, however it seems very delicate, and I can easily imagine it getting punctured at some point (most likely culprit, our puppy).

Yes, I find them rather strange too. Not sure...jury’s still out 😊
We have the Hozelock one (only because a discount made it about a third of the price of the equivalent Gardena). It's a huge improvement on a manual reel but it does often require some encouragement to wind all the way back in. Had wondered about taking it apart to check what is interfering with the mechanism but I wouldn't trust some of the plastic not to snap when I did so.
Neighbour had the 'kinky hose' described above and hated it, so much that she was happy to be given our old, bog standard house which she found miles more convenient!
Has anybody tried the weird, green, crinkly magic hoses? They look uncannily like snot coloured intestines...
I have one (although it's black) and it's now on its third year. I like it, takes a bit of time to get used to but works for me. You do need to have quite decent water pressure, I can't make it to the end of the garden (150ft) if people are using the water in the house.
