Patio cleaning

Anybody else having trouble trying to find Patio Magic in GCs? I managed to get of one 5lt contained a fortnight ago, but need so more and two of our local GC's don't seem to have any in stock, nor Algon.
I've been told that biological washing (for clothes) liquid will do the same job, anybody tried that?

Nope. Only ever used the Karcher.

I just use water - jet wash. Can't imagine chemicals would achieve more?

I use Wet & Forget (the same as PM I think) and got some from amazon
It's a LOT less harsh than jet washing and is quick and easy to apply.
I was very surprised at how well the paving round my greenhouse came up a few weeks ago, and my drive last year.
It takes a week or so to work, but about a week after spraying it on I just noticed how clean the slabs were.

Cleaners are usually going to be either bleach based (Sodium Hypochlorite), or quats based (eg. BAC, active ingredient in multi-surface spray and wipes).

You should be careful not to wash things down drains or into kerbside gutters that are not acceptable in your area.  Also, it should be obvious that this stuff isn't good for plants.

Thanks for responses and recommendation of Wet and Forget. I might try that.

I find it too tiring now to use our power washer, we have too many steps around the house to carry it around. Pondering whether to employ someone to do it for us. It used to take me about 6 hours to do the lot, so I suppose somebody younger and much fitter might do it in 2 or 3 hours?
