Has anyone used this type at all? Just a hook on the wall would be much easier to accommodate than a wall mounted reel, and its definitely trying to sell the 'no kinks' thing!
I have used a Hozelock expandable hose for several years and do love them, for my small gardens, front and back. They have been a game changer. I've never had a problem with Hozelock leaking. This hose is very light and collapses back into a small box.
A few things to watch for - they don't seem as robust as other style of hose. Lots of people on the forum have complained of breaks. Don't leave it out in strong sun as I think that may weaken it. Bring in inside in winter. It wouldn't stand any chewing by dogs or foxes. I don't have to drag mine over any distance and it doesn't have to go through bushes or over spikes. It doesn't kink or loop. If getting this type of hose, I would recommend going with a good brand. The cheapo ones don't have good connectors.
