Cosmos from seed indoors

Hello gardeners
I've been growing cosmos from seed and I read the guidance on waiting till I have 2 true leaves before potting on. They are however quite tall so don't know if I should just wait or go for it (or maybe I've missed a stage and I now have true leaves?? That's entirely possible.....) thanks 😊

It's not the first 2 tiny leaves at the top of the stem, it's the ones that follow, happy to provide pictures of mine,I sow thinly,I don't prick out or pot on, because I grow so many varieties of flowers and veg,no room, inspite of 3 green houses, conservatory table window sill and kitchen window sill all full!

@Nanny Beach so do you just plant them straight into the ground after the last frost?
  • Those are seed leaves  :)

When you pot them on just drop them deeper in the new pot.
