Where on earth do I start with this big lump of agapanthus roots, talk about pot bound. The ball itself is 12 inches across and as far as I can see, no compost. Any tips would be gratefully appreciated.
Well done getting it out of the pot. Agapanthus likes being hemmed in. I think you could get 3 plants from this by sawing through the roots between where the old growth is and potting on into 3 separate pots, not much bigger than the pieces you end up with. Probably won't flower this year though.
