Main crop potatoes

My mum got me a bag of maincrops and the shoots are already about 10cm long. Am I okay to plant these as they are? Or should I remove these and chit them as usual to grow new shoots?

    I would not take the shoots off,  in case more do not come.  Either put them in the light which will harden them up,  or plant  now carefully so you don't knock the shoots off.
