Watered all pots this morning and saturated my bog garden (not the first time this year for either); no doubt when it rains it won't stop for days ....
Fire same here at least a month.today, Got seedlings potted on plants outside on the table for a good soaking, along with the citrus, the rhododendrons some in pots but even the ones in the soil have been watered quite a few times
I have been watering 3 weeks ago because I have stuff in containers. Not ideal, but sometimes, you have to weigh up the pros and cons. If you are worried, water with warm water in the late morning time when the sun is out. Don't water in the evenings at this time of year.
Yes, and I felt a bit silly out with the hosepipe mid April. Had to be done though, everything's bone dry, no decent rain since mid February. I properly soaked the borders, all the roses, plus any trees and hedges that I'd planted this winter.
Before this weekend I'd only been watering pots and newly planted stuff.
I've been watering the big pots all month, but yesterday I did a fair bit of planting so gave the whole garden a good soaking and put some new bark down.
Its very strange to have had such a dry April, I bought a gazebo so that I could still have friends in the garden if it rained, and its only been needed for random 10 minute snow flurries!

Moisture proofing mulch going on top after a fertilise, with gaps for the drip watering.
