Weather forecast?

Hi all; doubtless been asked many times before, but what do we use for a gardener-centric weather forecast site/app?  I use BBC Weather for general stuff - can narrow it down to my specific postcode - and I seem to remember Metcheck having a "hobbies"  bit with gardening being one, but no idea what's reliable and what's any good.  Obviously, this time of year accurate frost forecasting's the crucial bit.  Welcome thoughts!

  • Actually, I'm looking at the gardening bit on Metcheck now - seems quite good, as can scroll down to see colour coded temps with anything light blue being bad news for my cosmoses!  No idea re accuracy though - anyone?

On Metcheck, I mainly use Weather > Forecasts > Frost risk
    Cambridgeshire, UK
  • Hadn't realised that was there Athelas - looks very promising.

I use the BBC local. It's usually pretty good. Need anti-depressants every time I look just now.

!!! Have a look at Athelas' Frost checker then @posy - horrible blue spikes well into May!
Nice here today though (Midlands), so will be making the most of it shortly :)

Oh no! We don't normally do frost after the first week in April, down here!
  • Hadn't seen how far south you were - lucky you!
