Is this seed ok to plant now?

Hi,

This may be a stupid question, but am I ok to scatter these seeds now or should I wait until Autumn (like the instructions say!)

    Generally wildflower seeds like a period of cold before it warms up and they wake up. If you can bare it, I would wait until the Autumn for optimum results. But you could maybe sprinkle a few now and see what happens...!

    For where you and I live John, I would wait until Autumn,  it’s always nice and damp then, you know how dry the ground can get through the summer, it’s so free draining.

    John , we’re  all like that when we start off,  so many people, every year think they will sow early, get ahead with planting etc,  you learn over the years. 
    Plenty to do over the summer.  If I have a packet of mixed seeds, I sow them in a tray then sort them out when they’ve germinated. 
    Does it say what the seeds are.?  There may be some annuals in there.

    No, unfortunately doesnt say what the seeds are. Ive forgotten where I got them from.

    It makes sense to scatter them in autumn as they will just burn if I scatter them now. The recent sun has been welcome and glorious!  B)
