Unsure what light levels I have

Hi. I was hoping someone could help. I’m looking to plant a new window box up but I’m finding it difficult to determine if it’s in semi shade, full sun etc. The window box is on the front of my house on a small terraced street. The front of the house faces NE (slightly more east than north) but the window box is currently getting sun from around sun rise to just after midday. What light level would this be considered? Any help appreciated.

    What were you intending to plant? My front faces in roughly the same direction with same amount of sun but I have gone for plants that will cope with sun and shade rather than full sun type.
    Then again plants don't read labels as many have said.

    Yes, I would agree - sun/partial shade. Luckily, that gives you an enormous choice! Hopefully you can get things you really like.

    Not sure what I want to plant as originally I thought it would be deep shade (and have been looking at those plants) but now looking at the light it opens up my possibilities. Thanks for the help.
