Help me save my indoor cordyline mambo!

I have had a Cordyline mambo as a houseplant for a few months. It had a traumatic journey to me stuck in customs (don't ask me why it came so far!) so not the best start and I dont think it's been in the best position.
As you can see it's leaves are in a terrible state mainly brown but some are ok and new are not bad.
How can I save it??
Please help?!

It does say older leaves die off as new grow so maybe that's what's happening to yours
