I’ve had my gunnera  for four years now , it has just got wider instead of taller.
Any advice please

    Where are you growing it?  Pot, ground, bog?   Soil type and weather exposure?
    Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    It’s in my front garden by the pond 
    sun most of the day and moist soil

    We have 3 growing in different areas of the garden.
    The one that is growing in a shaded area in moist conditions never gets very tall but continues to grow sideways.
    Another one growing in a dug out area that holds water does grow tall.
    The last one is growing in a very wet area and loves it. It does have sun all day.
