I’ve retrieved the handle of my broken tool, and it was made by Joseph Bentley. Looks like it was a longhandled version of yours, WildEdges. Tried searching for stockists, but no luck. Anyone know if they have maybe gone out of business?

That might explain why I managed to buy all mine very cheaply a few years ago.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Also explains what it was doing in TKMaxx, must have been an end of range. I did find it really useful, and didn’t pay much for it. When I’m feeling brave enough, I’ll check the garden centre and see if they have the Kent Stowe version. It might be a possible replacement.
    Thanks, all.

My short handled one was from Tesco's and I think it was sharp inside on both sides of the corner but also in the flat end. You could hook weeds out but also cut them by hooking it and poking it.
