Buddleia Does Not Look Well

Hello Everyone
Could anyone tell me please what is wrong with my Buddleia. I have three of them planted in the ground at the bottom of the garden. They are approximately 17 years old and I planted them into the ground when we moved here 3 years ago, they were living in pots until then. They have grown so well and have been covered in flowers in the summer. I cut them back a couple of weeks ago. If you can help I would be very grateful.

I think the fresh young growth has been
    nipped by the frost.
All things being even it’ll grow some new shoots and in a few weeks it’ll look just fine. 😊

Oh thank you Dove. I do hope they will be ok. There are shoots that are coming and looking quite green. Fingers crossed.
