Young Olive Tree

Planted a sucker from an established olive tree.
Seems to be doing ok. Do I need to remove lower leaves to create a trunk?

    Looks like it's doing great. :) No need to do anything at the moment, other than to get it outside when the frosts pass as they don't like it very much indoors.  If you notice any side-shoots forming from the leaf-joints on the lower part of the 'trunk' in the future, you can pinch those out while still small.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
