Small terracotta pots

AnniDAnniD Posts: 12,585
I have obtained 15 to 20 small terracotta pots around 2 and a half to 3 inches in diameter and 3 inches deep . Does anyone have ideas for what l could grow in them for a summer display?  They're too small for pelargoniums and l'm stuck for inspiration.

Sedums and sempervivems look great in pots like this and the watering won't be as demanding as for most other things.

I use mine as cane toppers. Would little sedum be happy there?

I usually have six in a decorative wirework container outside on the kitchen windowsill with the small red leafed begonias in them. They last for absolutely ages.

They would look good with young plants, cuttings etc before they get potted on. Sempervivums?

These pots are only 2 inches wide.  The Sempervivums still have some growing to do.

Thank you all for your suggestions. The sempervivums might be the way to go. I have plenty of grit to hand at the moment  :)
