Asparagus Fern Cutting

Dear all,

is it possible to cut the longer stems to create a new plant?

    I don't think you can take cuttings in a traditional sense. Propagation would be by division i.e. Plant is taken out of pot, cut down the midle using a knife then repotting.

    Thanks for your advice, Could I prune the longer stems or would that harm the plant?
