I have one and clicked on this thread because of the reddish brown leaves.. it's in a pot. About 60cm square and its big (3metres up the wall) and seems healthy but rarely flowers. Can I feed and water it to get it to flower (last year I fed it just once I think).. or am I fighting a losing battle?
Last year we had a tree shading it in the afternoon and now the tree is gone so it will get a lot more sun. Not all day but it's facing SE so a reasonable amount more. Will this help? I see these growing in front gardens, neglected, blooming away and it's a bit galling!

I'll be interested in the answer to this. I've got another Jasmine that I planted a few years ago which looks nice and healthy but I don't believe it's ever flowered - it's in a spot that I don't really see much. I'm trying the feeding this year to see if that helps. I gave it some blood, fish and bone a few weeks ago and am going to do a liquid feed every 2-3 weeks.
I think it is the feeding. I fed mine twice last year and then it flowered (a bit) but I think it was too little too late. It's taking up a prime spot and I want flowers though.. don't want to discover at the end of the season it's not happening!! But pretty sure the ones bunged in peoples front gardens aren't fed though!

That's good to know. From what I've read, it should be blood, fish and bone in Spring and then liquid every 2-3 weeks until August (although one person commented on here not to feed after July). Maybe if you increase your feeding a bit you might see more flowers?
