Snapped Swiss cheese plant

Hello,
I just moved house and in transit my Swiss cheese plant snapped! It was barely hanging on and was drooping down. I’ve had it for years and am surprisingly devastated! I tried to reposition it back upright using string and duct tape in the hope it might graft back/regrow. Is it a lost cause? Can you offer any advice? There are some newer shoots unaffected but the main bulk would be lost if I can’t find a solution. Any advice much appreciated!

Thank you!
J

A photo would help.  Use the postcard icon above the reply box and make sure the image size is below 2mb.

Can you take some cuttings? I had two big straggly Swiss cheese plants, that were taking over. I read on a website, sorry don’t have a link, about how to take cuttings. I cut off the top of each stalk, with two leaves and just below a knobbly node bit, and stuck them in water. After some weeks, they started to sprout roots and I potted them up. Worked so well, I just kept repeating it. The original two huge plants are now gone and I have a veritable forest of pots, all doing well. Worth looking up how to do it properly. I should have taken photos during the process, but it was very easy.
