Thanks for the advice. I have done a bit of scraping and there is some green! Lyn suggests that when they are grown they can be put in the “good stuff” . Would that be normal compost or could I use John Innes no3( I have some bags around). Thanks
Had a little brush at the compost on top... looks like I have shoots in all the pots so I’m much happier now. Thanks for all the advice here though- particularly in watering I’ll do no more until I have definite shoots above ground now!
@clare_grace. I pot on in ordinary multi purpose but most of mine are then put out in ground about the start of June. The ones I have here now are seedlings, I will put those in pots of MPC later then when they are outside and start to flower I’ll give them a weekly feed of Miracle Gro or tomato Feed, depending on which I’m using on the day. Both will make for more flowers.
