Outside Sink...what should it sit on?

Hello,

I am after any advice on what I should do with the base of my outside sink..just to make it a bit neater!

Any help would be massively appreciated,

I should imagine it's too heavy to move (?) so I would make up a wooden surround to hide the concrete blocks if you really wanted to hide it but personally I wouldn't worry too much about it. I don't think you'd want any plants around it as you'd get wet ankles after rain.

Thats a very narrow looking sink. What are you using it for?
My main concern is how stable those blocks are, can they be replaced with a brick support, properly laid or do you even need it off the ground that much as laying the blocks on their side, one at each end might look better and they also could be painted.

I had an outside sink in my last garden - bought an old ceramic butler style sink and built it a support frame using 2 x 4 timber which was held up by metal table legs bought from the DIY store so it was at a height I could use it without bending.  Great for washing pots at beginning and end of growing season and for watering and storing cuttings, divisions, potted on seedlings as it was on the back, north facng wall of the house and I had an outside tap just above it.
