Ground Elder infestation
Help, I have a large garden split into 4 areas and have ground elder and mares tail taking over 2 areas and starting to show in another. I’ve tried the organic, back breaking method of digging out but it’s not working. Does anyone have a chemical option that works? I’d rather not but it’s got to the point that I can’t see an alternative way and I’m now going to clear the area completely as there’s nothing I want to save. It’s about 2m wide by 10m long in the main problem area at the front of this bed.

Ideally something that contains around 360g/L glyphosphate such as this-

Do bear in mind that it is strong and any spray that hits a plant will probably kill it, so use carefully on a calm day and don't use a fine mist spray or it'll get everywhere.
It only works on the leaves, so plants need to be growing well when applied. So this time of year is good.
It can take up to 3 weeks until you see the plants dying
PS glyphosphate becomes inactive when it hits the soil, so the soil will not be affected
