@millacarter Unfortunately still slow progress! Like most people having building work done over the last year we've had delays with materials, still waiting for the windows to finish the extension before we can move on to the garden- should be in 2 weeks but I'll believe it when I see it! The plan is a raised patio at the top next to the extension with some planting at the edge of that to screen the houses when seated on the patio. I will update again, we can't wait to make a start on it
Hi again, 18 months after my first post we are nearing the time to actually buy plants so I was hoping for advice please!
So there are 3 levels to the garden, top will be patio, middle grass, bottom play area with trampoline.
I would like some trees at the bottom to screen the houses like the neighbours to the right have done, I would prefer evergreen though which theirs aren't. I was thinking maybe pleached trees? They would need to be between 3 - 4.5 meters high though to screen those windows depending on where we are standing in our garden. Middle area will be used for football so I don't think any planting would last long there.
Then on the top patio a mixture of raised beds and pots.
Any suggestions for screening trees at the bottom please?
