Pale leaves on young veg

Hello. I’m growing tomatoes, chillis, aubergines and padron peppers. A handful of each of them pale whitening leaves. Any idea why and what I can do? Thanks so much (from a keen veg growing newbie)

Are they on a windowsill,  if so it looks like cold has got to them. Even glass at this time of year can transmit the cold. To stop this use newspaper overnight by the glass, and remove in the morning.🙂
  • Yes they are, although it’s double glazed. Will pop some newspaper up anyway, thank you!

It will even get through double glazing I have found. I have been caught out in my conservatory this year ( which got down to 5°) which made my cucumbers wilt slightly.
