I'm sticking with  Yorkshire Cream, nice when wet but looks bright when not, good mix of colours that tone in with any colour brick. Can be bought here.
  • K67 looks nice. I never thought of Homebase and I was in that area and could have popped in.
Would we all be in agreement that grey no matter what shade would be to safe and bland compared with stones with colour and warmth? I wish I could pass a house that had gravel I could say that's nice and I want that. So much easier.
I think when I've decided on 2 I'll buy 2 bags and spread them next to house to compare.

I like K67's choice best as well.

As I said before - I like a golden colour - it's warm, tones with almost anything and looks nice when wet. Of the pics you've put up I'd opt for C - but I like K67's more.

The reason I've mentioned about being able to move planters and maybe using the wall space either instead of or as well as is:
if a car does end up in the space then a driver at least has to access and open the door and get in and out. They may well need to walk or stand on your bit - or at least open the door into the space over your bit.
You could get into long and involved arguments about their right to do this but having moveable planters should mean that you can arrange things to everyone's advantage - should the need arise.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
