Not a gardener needs help.

Hi all hope you can help me.
I am not a gardener, just moved to a house in UK with what looks like a mess of a garden.
Could someone tell me should I be removing these plants, weeds or whatever these are?

I would appreciate any help.
Thank you.

You have most of the classic perennial weeds so if you don't start getting rid of them, they will run amok! ps - better if you dig them out rather than spray job.

5 looks like raspberry or some other cane frut to me so nurture it by removing all the crud around it.

The rest are weeds and you can simply dig them out with a good garden fork.   Great on the compost heap.   Beware of no 6 - sticky bud - as it brings me out in a rash so wear gloves when you handle it, just in case.

I think 5 is a wild raspberry, trails along and comes up everywhere.

  • Thank you all that helps me. Stay safe!
