Dividing agapanthus

    I wrestled mine out of the pot a few years ago and sawed it in half, repotting one half and popping the other half in the garden.  The one in the pot flowers nicely, the one in the garden didn't flower at all, because I planted it in what was to become a very shady spot, next to a box that grew bigger and bigger.  So the plant was starved of light and nutrients.  I've now dug it up and put it on the sunny side of the bed and will be giving it a feed.  Keeping my fingers crossed I'll get some flowers this year.  Good luck with yours!
