I am having an issue with my lawn, see picture! Can anyone recommend what to do to solve? Thanks

That looks like physical damage ... is it the only patch like that?  Had someone emptied something out there? Hot water? Floor washing bucket with bleach in? Anything?

  • Yes, it is the only patch which is weird! It seems to have gone like that after the very cold weather and frost. Don’t recall ever emptying anything that part either

Has it had something standing or laying on that spot? Or maybe salt runoff or spillage if you salted/gritted the path when it was icy? Cold weather alone wouldn't affect just one spot like that.

It could do with a cut.
How can you lie there and think of England

I think I’d buy just one turve from the garden centre ... lift that corner out ... put a little top soil in if needed and cut a piece of turf to fit. Keep it damp but not sodden. It should be fine. 😊
