Help with new garden

Hi
bit of a weird one, we have just moved to a new house with a bigger garden then we are use to, and the new garden has a really big lawn, our last garden was virtually concrete so not sure what to do with it lol! Our issue is we have a lot of flying gnats around most of the lawn so I’m wondering how do we manage these and what they are? Hope some can help with this?

    Hi, don’t worry about these. They are probably just a species that is hatching just at the minute and the surge will only last a week or so, and will provide vital food for birds in the nesting season. If you post some photos of the garden, there are lots of people on the forum who will be happy to help on plant identification and maintenance issues.

    Thank you! hopefully they will not cause an issue for us. I will definitely be putting some pictures up and asking for more help in future @Cambridgerose12
