Japanese Acer Bloodgood White Fuzz on Leaves

I'm new to gardening and bought an Acer tree from my local garden centre yesterday. This morning I went to look at it and noticed white fur/fuzz on some leaves. Is this powdery mildew??

    The looks like the newly opening leaves, which what it will be doing this early in the spring. They tend to have that farina like look before they fully unfurl. I wouldn't worry.
