Palma greenhouse heater 2kw

Good afternoon. I am about to set up a heater in my 6 x 8ft greenhouse. Please can anyone give me an indication of where to set the temperature dial for this size of greenhouse given that I want to achieve a temperature of around 5 degrees. Thank you.

If you put the thermostat in the vicinity of where you want to maintain 5°C and set the temperature on the thermostat to 5 or 6° that should do it.
You may need to experiment a bit to find the best location for the thermostat, so initially set it a little higher 8-10°, and check what the minimum temperature is on a max/min thermometer.
Hopefully you wont need it for much longer this year..... hopefully

Thank you, Pete - will do.
I too am hopeful but am thinking you are an optimist given the forecast. 🤣😂

    One of these?
If so, it doesn't have a built-in thermostat, so you need to buy one of those to control it.
    I use one of these:
which can be set with the remote and you can put the probe near your most sensitive plants.  I have mine set to come on at 5C and off at 7C.  Set and forget.
There are cheaper ones without a remote, but I like to keep an eye on the temperature in the GH and have set the alarm inside the remote to go off if temp falls below 2C.

Ah - yes. Thank you Bob. I may invest in one of those.
