Several pots of this survived the winter, thought it may be a herb but I can't detect a scent.  Anyone know?  Thanks.....

    Could be snow in summer but the leaves might be a little wide for that.

    No, doesn't seem to be either........it's in a 3" pot, as are the others, obviously something I planted, label gone missing.  Thought it was thyme, but no scent when I crush leaves......time will tell I suppose. Thanks @Hostafan1 and @B3.

    @didyw no, it's definitely not penstemon, the leaves are very small and 'furry'........thanks

    @Borderline hmmmmm looked it up, it's definitely got a similar leaf, it's also the type flower I would like to have.......time will tell, thanks for your input.  The name doesn't ring a bell, but I had a lot going on last year......

    @B3 the leaves look very similar...... hopefully it'll have a nice flower.  That flower looks lovely, ye can buy plants really cheap!!

    Being independent, a lot of their stuff is a bit dearer but you can get some bargains too 😊
