  • I have an app on my phone called. Picture this.  It’s great, you just snap a photo of any plant/tree//bush and it will tell you what it is and everything about it.  The app is free although you can upgrade to the paid one I find the free one does it all for me.  It’s excellent. 😊

    The apps are sometimes enough ... but sometimes they cannot differentiate between two similarly leaved plants,  and we frequently have to correct misidentifications due to apps being too generalised or focussed on plants more common in a particular part of the world. 

    The specialised knowledge and experience of some of the members here (myself not  included 🙄) is phenomenal. 😎

    I agree Dovefromabove! Its my mothers garden who is no longer with us, so personal knowledge is invaluable  ;)

    I have had a play with many of the available apps and have found them all to be fairly useless.
