Wooly aphids on auriculas
I have just started trying to grow auriculas, and I still have them in my conservatory waiting to be potted up into bigger pots and put outside. Literally overnight what I believe arewooly aphids have appeared on the leaves - tiny white thread-like things. Elsewhere on here I have read that they can be carefully wiped with meths. Is that advice still applicable for auriculas? Or would buying alpine choughs be a better solution?
Thanks for any help - except with the choughs.
