Fruit trees in wildlife garden

We've got a hillside garden split into two by a fence and gate. The lower section is a more traditional, landscaped and planned garden. Just a thought, I wouldn't use either bonemeal or BFB in a woodland/wildlife area unless you want to attract badgers/foxes etc.
