Jade plant taking a bad turn

Help, so I used to have 3 jade plants, two died 😔and it looks like the third is taking a bad turn. Any advice on saving it?
The leave have started to shrivel and fall off and turn into a silvery colour. I thought it could be lack of light and to much water. So I haven't watered it for a few weeks and moved it to my windowsill which gets the most light. I moved it over the weekend, it seemed to be fine but two leaves have just fallen off . I've attached a couple of pictures just incase.
Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated x

Overwatering. These plants need to be kept completely dry and frost-free over winter ( 6 months) Take a leaf cutting - just a single leaf and plant it near the surface in dry sand. It will sprout. Don't make the same mistake again. Good luck.

Mine grow in gritty compost in terracotta pots on a south facing windowsill. I water a little every blue moon, even in winter, (they are succulents, not cacti, and CH makes the air very dry). The only bits that drop off have usually got broken off by me or the cat and I just stick them in another pot and then I have another plant. I never need to worry about them.
