I have recently planted this out from a pot to a sheltered spot in my garden. It was thriving in the pot but now Im a little worried about the brown foliage. Any advice...comments welcome.
Probably just discarding its old leaves ; all evergreens lose their foliage at some stage throughout the year . I.ilicifolia does particularly well against a south-facing wall in the UK .
Given a good rich and moisture retentive soil I cannot foresee any major problems .
Super shrub. Gets quite tall, needs a lot of room.Seen it growing up here at St Andrews botanic garden and Cambo Gardens on East Coast....needs a very shelter spot.
