Plant ID please

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, probably because I haven’t been in the garden much and it’s a bit neglected.

Anyway, I have a few plants that I don’t recognise growing in one area of the garden.  Could anyone identify for me please (I’m sure it’s easy!).

    Veronicastrum, maybe? Mine aren't as far along but they do look a bit like the little one near the weed seedling. I can't imagine they're something that would come up by accident/self seeding though, so if you didn't plant them then I'm probably wrong.

    Hmm definitely haven’t planted veronicastrum.  As long as it’s not something recognisable as horribly invasive etc maybe I’ll leave them to grow a bit and see what they end up as!

    My first thought was lilies.

    My first thought, like robairdmacraignil, was could they be willowherbs?

    We do get willowherb in the garden (who doesn’t?), but don’t usually look like this.  Maybe I’ve got a new variety (for my garden).  I’ll let it grow a bit so I can confirm.

    My initial thought was also lilies or fritillaries, but I think the leaf veins are wrong for anything from a bulb.

    Another vote for something like day lily.

    I definitely haven’t planted any bulbs! Maybe I need to dig one up to clarify that I haven’t had the lily fairies coming in the night!

    It certainly isn't daylily! They produce strap-shaped leaves from the base.
