Broad beans sown in pots a few weeks ago in cold frame, now bursting ready to plant out, but with frost and snow forecast for the coming weekend should I wait? I read frost could kill them.
I've planted mine out 5 days ago (I'm in Nottingham) in a sheltered spot in the raised bed. They were hardened off for about a week. Mine were in the root trainers grown under grow lights a couple of weeks before and were 3 or so inches tall.
Thanks for the input. I've got lots of plants, so I think I'll probably hedge my bets and put half out, with fleece if necessary, and do the rest after the cold spell.
