Plant ID please

Hi, is this tarragon?  The split leaves are confusing me!

    If it's tarragon it surely must taste so have you tried a nibble assuming you aren't growing anything poisonous as well

    I tried rubbing the leaves but no smell.  Didn’t really want to taste anything until I knew what it was 🙂  It was a buried clump in my raised bed that I couldn’t remember planting so I put it into a pot and it’s now quite happily growing away in the sun.

    It looks like one of the silver-leaved ornamental artemisias to me. Tarragon is also an artemisia though, but I thought it had undivided leaves and not silver.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
