Weed issue!

Hello, I’m completely new to gardening so hoping someone help! 😃

I have this weed cropping up through the ground from under gravel and artificial lawn, I can also see it creeping out of the hedge/boarder - I have no idea what it is or how to get rid of it, please may I have some suggestions? It’s ruining my garden

    Is there a tree nearby. They look like suckers. Well some of them anyway.

    Yes we have an apple tree in the area (small) and next door have lots of trees. How do I get rid of these suckers?

    You need to trace them back as close as you can to the tree and fig them out - if that is what they are. Do they have a cherry or a plum tree?

    Ok.
    We don’t but our neighbours do, I guess I can’t dig up their garden to resolve the issue! GW website recommended some tree stump and seedling killer which I’ve just ordered. Maybe that will help manage the issue rather than resolve?

    I hope so , so long as it doesn't kill their tree. Hopefully a more knowledgeable member will be able to help.

    Please don't use weedkiller unless you really know what you're doing, especially as it could be on a neighbour's plant! If I were in your situation I'd be considering popping round to the neighbours to see if they could help identify what plant it is.
    I'm sorry I can't tell what it is - are you sure they're all the same plant?
