I read they're quite difficult to get to germinate. Perhaps it's not been that long and you need a little patience? When did you sow them? Did you cover the seed tray with a plastic cover?

Also some seeds benefit from a cold treatment, perhaps leave the seed tray outside (protected from the elements) for a week or two and bring it back in?

I sow my Angelica seeds in a cold g/h in Autumn, expecting them to germinate in Spring. They do not need heat.
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

  • So the seeds I've used are no good now..
  • Ill put the tray outside now and see what happens,  I 've had them under cover for a month now

Yes they need stratifying. Put them in the fridge instead for a few weeks then back into the warmth

Seeds are tougher than you think. Not all is lost. Put the try outside or in the fridge as suggested for a while (weeks rather than days) and then bring back in the warmth
  • Will do thank you all for your advice
