Plastic Plant Pots

Is it just me or have plastic flower pots become a lot more expensive?

You should be able to get loads locally for free.

Some garden centres recycle used pots for a fraction of the cost of buying them new.

My local nursery has a big bin of them for people to collect for free. Although rarely anything larger than 2L.

I don't know if it is all branches, but B&Q have a "Help Yourself" bin full of used plant pots.

Once I asked at the gardening club meeting if anyone had any plastic pots they wanted rid off, next meeting I got loads of black plastic bin bags full of pots!

I took the lot as I didn't want to offend anyone's generosity!

I have not had to buy any since and have not asked at the GC "if anyone has any plastic pots they want rid off since".
