    Harlequins are established here now … and they too eat aphids … the advice from the wildlife and gardening experts is to leave the harlequins be.

    Me neither. The ladybirds have been out and about for ages, but not seen any larvae so far. Having said that, there also seems to be far less aphids on my roses than last spring.
