Re,Self seeded Sycamore.

Hello,I'm in need of some help!!my neighbour, who is also my ex boyfriend, has allowed a sycamore seedling tree,to grow more than 15/20foot tall, and very close to my and his properties(we both rent off of different letting agents)by private landlords.I have photographic evidence that proves the sycamore tree was not there when i first moved in 14years ago,he has also changed the fencing from trellis fencing to solid fencing, cutting off light to my garden,he has been my neighbour for the last 10years,I've also been intimidated by them an awful lot, over the years, and even had to report him to the police once for harrassment.I'm also disabled, and he knows the only way to hurt me,is to deny me my garden/gardening.I also suffer with mental health issues, and my garden is the only respite i get from my depression and anxiety problems.
Yours hopefully 😥🌷🌺🌼💮

Sorry for your situation. Your letting agent should be dealing with this really as eventually it's going to damage his clients property have you spoken to them about this?
The seeds are a nightmare and grow everywhere, including gutters,  so I'm surprised you have just the one!
You can do anything about the fencing but you can cut back overhanging branches your side but that would be difficult for you no doubt.

Agree, surely the letting agents should be dealing with this sort of thing?

I agree, tell your letting agent and ask them to deal with it sensitively. Given the situation you might want them/the owner to "notice" it on a routine inspection of the property (do people still do that?). Neither of the property owners will want such a potentially big tree growing near their buildings.
