Pelleted lobelia seeds

I have sown these as directed on the packet - do not cover with compost. 2 weeks later still no sign of growth and the "pellet" still looks intact. The seed tray has been in a propagator.

Are the seeds in good contact with the soil?
They need to be pressed into the surface.

  • Mine took ages to germinate, I think the clue is “not in direct sunlight”. Finally saw some minute green leaves once I moved to a suitable spot in the greenhouse. Don’t give up yet!

Thank you both. Yes I did press seed into compost. Patience...
