  I certainly agree that Rolawn need calling out on the "degrades after 5 t-years" nonsense.  It's clearly false and even if it does break down after 50 years it hasn't gone away, just become micro or nano plastic which is bad for soil organisms and everything higher up the food chain all the way to us.

  I too have been the victim of this hidden mesh in wildflower meadow turf I had laid a year or so ago.  Some good news (albeit too late for the those who have it in their turf), It looks as though the Government is going to ban oxo-degradable plastic - see para 3.30 in https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/976912/standards-biobased-biodegradable-compostable-plastics.pdf
