Looks to me like Fritillaria imperialis.

My first thought was looks like a lily, but it's a bit early.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Thanks for your feedback. I didn't plant a peony, so I think it must be a lily that I forgot about 😊😊
