evergreen shrub disease help!

The attached pictures are of three of my Dad's shrubs (i'm afraid I don't know the names) - they have been green and healthy for the last two years, but suddenly started to develop browning leaves. I'm guessing it is a disease issue of some sort? Any help to resolve would be much appreciated. Thanks very much :-)

They are Pittosporums and look like they might have been frosted.

I agree - when no more frosts are expected, I would give them a light trim, just enough to remove most of the damage.  Don't trim them after the end of July though, or the new growth won't have time to fully harden and may get damaged again next winter.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Brilliant - thanks very much both of you, I now have a plan! :-)
